Mobile apps

Mobile apps for iOS and Android, from one codebase

We build apps for members, subscriptions, orders and field teams, with React Native and Expo. We design them, publish them to the App Store and Google Play and keep them alive after launch. The team works out of Oradea and Cluj-Napoca, for clients in Romania, across Europe and in the US.

Platforms

iOS, Android or both

We build almost every app with React Native and Expo, so it reaches both stores from the same code. Each platform still has its own particulars, which is why each has its own page.

What we build

What goes into an app we build

The app is the visible part. Behind it sit the accounts, the payments, the server, the stores and the maintenance, and we take all of them on.

Members, subscriptions and payments

Accounts, recurring subscriptions through Stripe or the stores, access that depends on payment. The logic lives on the server, not only in the app.

Offline mode and push notifications

Field apps that keep working without signal and sync when it returns. Notifications that bring the user back, not ones that get the app uninstalled.

Hardware and integrations

Turnstiles, QR codes, NFC, printers, POS terminals and the APIs you already run. We have wired apps to physical access control across a five-gym chain.

Product design included

Flows and screens you can try on your phone before we write code. The same team designs the app and builds it.

App Store and Google Play release

Accounts in your company's name, certificates, test builds, review submission and the answers to rejections. The app reaches the stores, not just GitHub.

Maintenance after launch

New iOS and Android versions, over-the-air updates for fixes, monitoring. Or we hand everything over to your team, documented.

Process

From the idea to the version in the store

The same process as for any product, with a test build on your phone every two weeks.

  1. Discovery

A week spent understanding your process, your users and your constraints. We come out with a clear scope and a budget we stand behind.

  2. Design

Flows and screens you can click through before we write any code. This is where expensive mistakes get fixed cheaply.

  3. Build

We ship in two-week increments to a staging environment you can access at any time. No surprises at the end.

  4. Support & growth

After launch we stay on for monitoring, maintenance and improvements. Or we hand everything over to your team, documented.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does a mobile app cost?
It depends on what it does. A member app with subscriptions and notifications is a different project from a marketplace with payments and two kinds of users. After a week of discovery you get a scope and a budget we stand behind.
How long until it is in the stores?
We ship in two-week increments to a test build installed on your phone, so you see progress from the first increment. The first published version comes after a few months, not a year.
Do you work with companies in Cluj-Napoca and Oradea?
Yes, and we meet in person when it helps. The rest of our clients are in Romania, across Europe and in the US, and the process is the same: a test build, two-week increments, permanent access to the staging environment.
Who owns the code and the accounts?
You do. The Apple and Google accounts are in your company's name, the code sits in your repository, and the documentation comes with it.
What happens after launch?
We stay on for monitoring, new iOS and Android versions and improvements. Or we hand everything over to your team, documented.
